We love this warm scheme, not only for it’s beauty, but it’s versatility, as it transitions the seasons.

Our Zoe & Bee Sea Tangle Dark Rust fabric works so well as curtains, blinds, cushions or lampshades. It has an irregular texture to it that echos its coastal roots and adds a delicate pattern to your interior scheme without being too feminine or floral. This is the hero fabric of this week’s scheme so we would suggest it is used as curtains or blinds or perhaps as the focal point to your room (a large footstool). The Sea Tangle design was created from an original charcoal sketch of Zoe’s taken from a tiny piece of seaweed found on the beach in Falmouth. It forms part of the Zoe & Bee Collection created in collaboration with Osborn Interiors.

With rust being so on-trend at the moment we’ve searched for the right paint colours to recommend to you in order to create a balanced rust and blue scheme in your home. These colours blend beautifully and work well in ANY room. You might like to use the rusty paint colours as a starting point for a refresh. These paint colours recommend are not an exact match, but rather tone in with the fabrics.

If you already have a soft blue room at home, add a little rust and some layered printed linen in our Dew fabrics to get the look without a complete re-design.

We would suggest combining the striped and geometric fabrics as curtains in your room scheme or perhaps use one to upholster a headboard. The porcelain buttons are hand made by local ceramicist Clare Hartley and can be ordered online individually and sewn onto a blind or cushion as a trim.

You might like to use the Sea Tangle linen as an accent lampshade to add a pop of pattern to your room scheme.
