NEW: Linen Upholstery Fabric
After much research and sampling we have selected a lovely heavy weight quality of linen upholstery fabric (Code B Fabrics) on which to print some of our favourite designs. We also have some beautiful heavy weight Oatmeal and Ivory pure linens which are suitable for general domestic upholstery. We love stripes (Slade Stripe, Feather Blade and Windmill Wood) and herringbones (Mottram Meadow) as upholstery creating a timeless, classic piece of furniture. Also little neat prints such as our Honeycomb work well as accent chairs. Or make a bold statement with a chair in our Whrilwind or Nordic Trail prints.
We wanted to select upholstery fabrics which give my designs the grainy textured appearance of their original design but the durability of a heavier base fabric. Knowing how hard wearing upholstery needs to be, with two little boys of my own, it was vital to select the right quality. Our linen upholstery fabric has been tested according to martindale British standards and exceeds the recommended abrasion test result for general domestic upholstery giving it longevity in your home.
Please note that our Code A,C and N fabrics are suitable for curtains, blinds cushions, soft furnishings and LIGHT upholstery.

How/Where to upholster?
Our linen upholstery fabric has been approved by experienced upholsterers. Make sure you work with a fully trained, experienced upholsterer. It can take years to train in this craft and the quality of workmanship can really vary. We are more than happy to recommend upholsterers and curtain makers in the UK - please contact us via the contact us page if you need some guidance on this.
